The abilities are specific, but it does not prevent you from trying out this or that hero in different positions and roles. These roles outline which responsibilities you are going to have in the actual gameplay.
While in competitive PC MOBA there are 5 roles in general, here you can choose one of the 6 types of heroes: “Tank”, “Marksman”, “Assassin”, “Fighter”, “Mage”, and “Support”. Players control one of the in-game characters they lock-in with. The rules here are rather complicated, just like in other multiplayer online battle arena games. However, these purchases have only cosmetic importance. However, there are in-game purchases that could cost you real funds.
